When you’re order has been despatched you will receive an shipment confirmation email containing tracking information. All orders are shipped via DHL.

Delivery charges
US: $8.95 USD, free for orders over $100 USD
Canada: $13.95 USD, free for orders over £130 USD

Customs Duties
Customers in Canada may be liable to pay customs duties, taxes, and fees on imported goods.

Customs Duties: In most cases, you’ll need to pay customs duties when importing goods to Canada from the USA. The duty rate is determined by the type of goods.

Goods and Services Tax (GST: Most imported goods are subject to a 5% GST, with some provinces adding Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).

Provincial Sales Tax (PST): Some provinces may also impose a provincial sales tax, ranging from 0% to 10%.

Dispatch and processing times
Many of our items are made-to-order and while we aim to ship all orders within 2-3 working days of receipt this process can take longer during busier periods. Typical shipping times are shown below:
US: 3-8 working days
Canada: 4-8 working days

We cannot offer to expediate orders or offer alternative shipping services.

Please Note: A ‘working day’ means a Monday to Friday that is not a Bank or Public Holiday. Please allow an additional day in the event of a public holiday.

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible quoting your name and order number.

The Moomin Shop United States cannot be held responsible for any delays that are out of our control.

Returns

30 Day Returns
If for any reason we fail to meet your expectations, you may return or exchange your items within 30 days of receipt of your order.

In order to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We cannot accept returns for facemasks, swimwear, underwear and customised products.

If you would like to return an item, please notify us by email at hello.us@moomin.com to receive you return authorisation and further instruction.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. This process can take up to 5 working days.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
